Waverley Investments has announced the sponshorship of a school football team, based in Glasgow.
Company director, Frank Devoy, was raised and schooled in the east end of Glasgow. Being eternally grateful to those who helped build his life, he wanted to repay some of that debt.
When Waverley was asked to sponsor St Bridget’s School football team, the company was delighted to help. Waverley see this as a long-term commitment, supporting the management team as they help the team enjoy their football and learn key life skills and, hopefully, be successful.
The manager, Kevin Wilkie, a key former player in a previous successful St Bridget’s team said “We are very grateful to Waverley for their generous sponsorship. It enables us to make the team feel proud of their football and their school. In difficult times for everyone, we are looking forward to a great season.”
